Tackling Graffiti and other issues down your street

Labour councillors and activists were out talking to residents on Cowthorpe, Thorparch, Goldsboro and Crimsworth Road today.

Some of the issues that were bothering residents included gangs of youths hanging round in the street, particularly outside Webb House, car thefts, street sweeping and the quality of paving on the roads.

Your Stockwell Labour Action Team is raising all of these issues with the council and the police. When we were there we spotted that the offensive graffiti which had been scrawled onto a street sign on Crimsworth Road has now thankfully been removed after we reported the matter to Lambeth's street cleaning team.

We all need to work together to make our community a better place to live, so if you have any issues or problems, like graffiti simply email or use the fixmystreet website to report it.
                                     Reported.                                           Sorted!
